Upon every startup, Radian does a quick calibration (after which Radian should remain very close to the initial position) to ensure stability and proper motion in the desired direction. If after some adjustment of Radian it does not feel properly pre-loaded to one direction or is loose, just restart Radian and let it calibrate again right before the time-lapse.
